Vauxhall City Farm was transformed from derelict land in 1977 by volunteers into the working farm we see today.

Vauxhall City Farm offers recreational and educational opportunities to a variety of groups and individuals. Visitors can find a wide variety of farm animals as well as an ecology area and herb and dye garden.

The animals are all friendly and used to being petted by visitors. The favourites are Bella the Pig and Jacko the Donkey.

Donkey rides, pony-care classes and

milking demonstrations are all available on request, as well as a range of talks on the farm and lots of hands-on-work with the animals.

Vauxhall City Farm is the only city farm in central London that provides contact with animals for people who live in a highly urban environment.
